Team Lobster Thermidor

Sorry for the silence on the blog during the latter part of last week.  We were a bit busy.  

my present for the hubs.

First up, we had a great Valentine's Day.  Maybe the best ever.  

After spending a day off with Ella, my husband and I went to a cooking class at Charleston Cooks.  It was a blast.  We were team lobster thermidor and actually made miniature modified lobster thermidor.  It was really fun and the meal was delicious.  

As you can see by our gifts, my husband and I are very different.  He got me three pieces of jewelry and I got him Die Hard and a Purpose Driven Life.  He's a complex man.  :) 

Friday, we both took the day off and took Ella to the Children's Museum since we had been unable to over our Christmas vacation due to all three of us being sick.  

She had a blast.  

Then on Saturday we had a surprise burst of snow.  It was Ella's first snow and it like most Carolina snow leaves as quickly as it came but it was beautiful.  Ella was not a fan so it appears my husband's dream of her being an Olympic snowboarder might be dashed.  

We had a lot of fun and got to spend a lot of time together.  Hope everyone had a great weekend.
