Resolution Update: My First Cooking Class!

So I took my first cooking class this weekend and had a blast.  My sweet husband agreed to go with me and we took the knife essentials class at Charleston Cooks in Greenville, SC.  It was great and as part of the class we got some great recipes and made an awesome lunch.  I learned about all sorts of kitchen tools and utensils I did not know I needed like a flat whisk, Swiss Diamond frying pans, etc.  In Charleston Cooks they do emphasize ingredients from SC like these Stone Ground Grits.

I really enjoyed it and I'm glad I finally went and took a class like I have always wanted to.

I loved the class I took at Charleston Cooks! It was so fun to hear how to use local ingredients. You'll have to try Carolina Plantation's aromatic rice as well. It is delicious :)

Happy cooking!

I took a class at their Columbia location and loved it, too. I learned so much!

How wonderful! I've always wanted to take a class, but haven't ever found the time. Maybe I'll add it to my 2013 to-dos!
