It seems odd to go back to blog business as usual with such a national tragedy on our hands. My thoughts are with those precious babies and heros and prayers are being lifted up. It has upset me so badly that I refuse to watch the news coverage and I am staying off of Facebook. It's just unspeakable.
But to get onto a lighter topic, we had a busy weekend. We wrapped up some shopping and the hubby and I enjoyed a Christmas date night. We did some super fast shopping in Charlotte, NC. He actually was impressed with my speedy shopping abilities in Williams Sonoma and Crate and Barrel. I do have a couple of more things to pick up for my Dad and then to finish the hubby's and my stockings. Otherwise, we are done. I have another South Park shopping day planned this week so I should be able to wrap everything up then. I feel like I will never be completely done.
After shopping we went to dinner at 300 East, which is my favorite restaurant in Charlotte. I loved these little trees on the tables. So cute.
Sunday I worked on some more wrapping. I really found myself not using any holiday paper this year. I used all everyday paper and made it Christmas-y. Here is a glimpse of two gifts I wrapped.
ornaments, wrapping paper and ribbon from hobby lobby. tags from rifle paper co.
I have an insane week at work this week so if my posting is intermittent that is why. I hope everyone has a safe and productive week!
