I am officially nine months pregnant! Did I mention that you are pregnant for 10 months? Well actually it's a full nine months but nevertheless it's 40 weeks, you do the math.
With the ninth month brings lots of feelings and realizations for instance...
I Really Want This Baby Out!
BUT I do want her to stay in as long as she needs to.
Why do people say that I should sleep now because I am not going to be able to sleep once she's born? I'm not sleeping now!
I am really going to gain 30 pounds
That new Chicco's commercial with the color striped zebra is annoying me so much that I'm getting really pissed off.
My doctor said she was a happy baby so.... does that mean she's so happy she's not going to want to come out?
I panicked in the middle of the night that Ella Gray did not have a copy of The Very Hungry Caterpillar
My boobs are really going to get that big
My maternity clothes don't fit anymore. Seriously if I had gone into labor today my pants would have had to have been cut off.
Are those stretch marks at least 6 inches long a piece?
(the appropriate response would not be to say you didn't have them because I will find you)
Thinking that I'm really going to miss feeling her kick
Imagining how much I am cannot imagine leaving her to go back to work

my friend brought that whole 10 month thing to my attention when she was pregnant :/ I hope these last few weeks go as smoothly (and comfortably) as possible!

Funny you mention the 10 month thing, I had to bring this to the attention of my other half last night when he tried to tell me I was 6 months pregnant... not 7, because my due date is in July. A tad frustrated that he tried to argue with me how far along I was! ;)
I was also sitting in bed last night, just watching my tummy move as our little one squirmed about and had the same thoughts as you... once she's out, I will miss seeing those movements and feeling her kick.

Oh man, I hardly slept the last 6 weeks of my pregnancy because it was so darn uncomfortable and I had horrible heartburn. That was by far worse than the lack of sleep post baby. After the little one arrives the adrenaline kicks in and helps make the lack of sleep a bit more bearable! BTW - I was never "cute pregnant", seriously ;o)
your list made me laugh, I am just starting my 2nd trimester with my 2nd pregnancy and I am dreading the last trimester, I remember that feeling of wanting the baby out, but they will come in their own good time. And I got bad stretch marks along with PUPPs which makes every single one of those stretch marks itch like they are on fire, it was sooo uncomfortable. Stretch marks do fade but we will bear them forever as a reminder of our pregnancys *sigh*

I love you and Baby Ella too <3
